“Ink from Ash” - A Spoken-Word Journey of Empowerment during the Oct.7th War
Where poetry meets therapy…
Chaya Lester’s poetry has given voice to the pain and the power of the Jewish people throughout this war. Her spoken-word, stories and teachings will stir and inspire. But this event is more than Entertainment, it is a form of what Chaya calls ‘Innertainment’ that guides the audience on an inner journey of processing and healing. This therapeutic journey will help the audience find purpose & empowerment through the hardship of this war. Event includes deep psycho-spiritual teachings and practical tools for making meaning out of trauma.

Praise from Ha’aretz National Magazine in Israel:
"Chaya Lester has an unusual combination of talents: the psychological training to enable her to self-reflect and self-reveal, the lyrical flair to put her experiences to verse and the stage presence to make audiences keen to come along with her for the ride...Her wordplays alone, delivered like an old-new hybrid between a rap and a rapture, are well worth the journey.”
Praise for 'Babel's Daughter' from The Jerusalem Post:
"Lester combines spoken word poetry, character impersonations, music and audience participation.
She takes breaks during the show for audience members to write down and reflect on their own feelings...There are very intense and profound tear-jerking pieces to the show...
And yet it’s in a container that is accessible, engaging
and inviting for people to enter..."
